Judging and such...

I don't think that will be a problem! We have needs for everyone
(speaking of which... we still need people to test out
http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/test.cgi before we release. Just go
over, register, pretend to enter an aquascape (use any graphic you want
for the photos). Especially check the "Upload" functionality, as it's new
this year.)

I did notice that the judges tended to dock points in the viability area
for tanks that were clearly set up just for the shoot.

Cool, I will look for this book as well.

Just checked, and they're on the list. Thanks.

I would as well, and have in fact extended invites to all four original
judges. Karen has offered to be a stand-in, in case we don't fill the
other slots... she's a little concerned about conflict of interest, as she
also helped plan the event. But personally, there was no harder working
judge last year -- she managed to comment on every entry!

Incidentally, I got a note today from Kaspar Horst who suggests we work
with several other European and Asian groups on a larger-scale event. I
think this would be a good idea NEXT year if we start planning now, but I
think the time scale will be difficult to manage for this year.
