I think the only thing keeping me from opening the website is the 
unresolved text regarding the new categories.  I did a pass at modifying 
the text to be a bit more general, and I think we could run with this.  So 
please take a peek at http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/t.cgi and see 
if things look more or less ready.
