Not sure what there is to get up to speed, though, other than previous 
years' debates and discussion.  Still waiting to hear back from people who 
want to be involved before we start this year's planning in earnest.

In terms of your idea for having categories sponsored by different clubs 
or organizations, it's a big hit with Phil.  Phil, btw, has volunteered to 
handle prize donations and sponsorship.  This is really excellent, as Phil 
is already the AGA's corporate liaison.  Would finally be the first year 
we've actually had some synergy in that area!
