There still the question of smaller donations. If we get all of the sponsorship for the categories, we could put these smaller donations into a pool to pay for ribbons, certificates, etc. If not all of the categories get a sponsorship, then lets split the pool up and do co-sponsors like Scott suggested. You don't want to discourage someone from donating to the AGA. If we place limitations on who can do this or that, people aren't as likely to support the AGA in the future.
Just some of my thoughts. Bailin

That is why I proposed the idea to Erik, to get exposure forDFWAPC and at the same time, it helps the AGA. I have to do some reeling in here. I proposed the idea on behalf of DFWAPCand we were the first to offer cash/prize/whatever. We already know what the market will bear from the non-profit plant organizations because has alreasybeen stated. I have to insist that we the DFWAPC have the first choice ofwhere we are in the showcase sponsorship. We can try to match any price setby commercial entities. Milk the commercial people for all they are worth but let us not forget how we got into this discussion in the first place.I am not trying to start a pissing match or flame. I am just trying to make sure that DFWAPC's initial offer of goodwill, cooperation and generosity is not cast aside because all of a sudden we have discovered there is money tobe made._______________________________________________ AGA-Contest mailing list AGA-Contest@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-contest
