Re: [AGA-Contest] Prizes

Hello All,

As you have noticed, I have not been on this list much the past couple of months.  Unfortunately, for the contest, this is not a good thing.  However, life can deal you some unexpected tests at the worst times.  I have been dealing with some very difficult issues with my parents and brother that have monopolized my time .  Although things have improved and I have resolved some of the problems, this issue will still be something I will have to deal with for a while.

With that out of the way, I noticed that we haven't had much conversation on the site recently.  Can we sound off on what's been done and what needs to be done?  Given the shortened timeline to the current deadline, would it be reasonable to extend the deadline to the end of the month?  Also, posting announcements on the forum - I would like to suggest that we work on a shorted list of sites that are hit the most.  I'm not sure how much the foreign sites notice our contest, but I'd like to get an idea of the best sites to hit for aquascaping that are foreign language forums as well as ones that are English based.

Finally, where do we stand in regards to the judges.  I know that Jason Baliban was discussed and I'd willing to judge this year.  Of course, there is our famous and illustrious Karen Randall, so that would give us three.  How about a foreign aquascaper.

Anyway, apologies everyone on my limited involvement and extended absence.  I'm hoping that things have calmed for a while and I can get back to the business of leading a normal life again.

Regards,
Bailin
