This is a totally inappropriate message for Gomberg to send to Dennerle.
And I do not recall anyone saying to drop the book "if [Dennerle] will not
sell it to us." ... only if it is too much trouble [to get it elsewhere]. I
think they have the right to not sell to organizations directly. 

I have already sent Dennerle a private message telling them to try not to
mind Gomberg's tone. As I said to Stefan, I think Dave means well. :-)
