Remember the idea of plant sales to members of the AGA (rare plants from Florida Aquatic Nursery at less than retail). While staying with David Lass in Boston, this subject came up and David volunteered to do it. Art Giacosa said that we should first incorporate or become nonprofit, but this never happened. (Art also volunteered to handle the plant sales, but I can't remember if the idea got shelved because of his concern about potential tax problems for the AGA.) David asked me about AGA not charging sales tax. Does anyone know if we can/should go ahead with selling plants before we become incorporated. We are already selling books. What could happen to us if we sell plants too? Neil
