Jan B., and the NJAS "extravaganza"

Jan will be giving his talk at 11:15 AM Sunday morning, Oct. 24 in the
Parsippany Hilton.  The room will be available for informal chatting until
1PM.  It looks like Jan and I will be staying at the Hanover Mariott
because we were both too late to get in the Hilton.  The Mariott, they say,
is right across the road, the road being highway 10.  I looked the Mariott
up on a map, which shows it 4 miles east down the road, but they insist the
map is wrong and the Mariott is really west of Highway 287, not 4 miles
east of it. They say you have a good chance of being killed if you try to
cross highway 10 on foot.
