I agree.

I think this makes sense.  I also think that as a courtesty to the group,
and to help Bob manage the process better, we should _try_ to inform the
group when we will be out of E-mail range for more than a few days, and
could potentially miss a vote.  There may be times where time constraints
mandate that the vote be taken anyway, but most times it would be fine to
wait for someone to get back from a vacation before closing the vote.

I get the digest too... otherwise I'd _never_ keep up with the E-mail I
get.  So people _do_ have to recognize that you need a _full_ 24 hour cycle
before you are sure everyone has seen your post.
