Dear Fellow AGAers,

 I have a couple things to report on:

Regarding the Back Issues:
 In the past, Neil and I have kept a full complement of back issues.
That was fine when we just had 2 or 3 volumes, but now we?ve got 8 to
keep track of.  Also, the back issues are no longer selling that well.
For example, in 1999, the sales were $366.  My expenses were about $46
and Neil had to make several printing orders to replenish issues what we
were out of.  It?s quite a bit of work to keep all issues in stock.  For
example, right now I?m out of 5 issues.  What I?d like to do, with AGA
approval, is to just list what we have available on the web and in TAG
and let people buy from that list.  That will save us from having to
make reprints and the expenditure involved.

Regarding the BookStore

 The Dennerle book has been sold out.  Dave Gomberg has written to me
that re-ordering that book is difficult at best.  Thus, I suggest we
drop it from the list, since we now have the Tropica and Oriental books,
whick are quite nice.  However, if the AGA wants to carry this book,
please let me know.

 Thank you all for agreeing to list my book with the bookstore.
However, if there are any objections, I will be glad to take my book off
the list.  (It?s not a big deal to me.)  You should all know that Bob C.
and I discussed the AGA pricing in some detail.  We decided on the $33
price for several reasons.  First, it provides more $ for the AGA.
Second, I didn?t want to list a substantially cheaper price than the
BookMasters price, because I?d rather not have people ordering it from
the AGA just because it was a little cheaper than ordering it from
BookMasters, who are selling the book for me over the internet for
$33.45 (shipping included).  Thus, the AGA listing of my book now will
specifically target people who don?t have access to the internet (there
are still some out there!) or those that want to do ?one-stop shopping?
by buying the other books and/or poster along with mine.

 I only have 2 copies of the Oriental catalog and I have just written to
Malaysia to investigate ordering more.
