AGA Intl Aquascaping showcase and contest

I support the proposal submitted to me by James Purchase. It is extremely
well organized and clearly written. I can't see any reason why AGA would
not want to sponsor it. I understand that PAM is going to advertise its own
contest. I suggest that we move to adopt this project ASAP.  The organizing
committee should be commended on a job well done.

I have some minor comments included below. I have also sent them directly
to James.

In Aquatic Gardener's Association, there should not be an apostrophe. It
should be Aquatic Gardeners Association (p 10,18) 

Contest Guidelines(p. 12): tank sizes need to include 15 and 75 gallon
aquaria. I suggest they be part of small and large respectively.

Photo Guidelines (p.15). The rules say that the images may only be altered
for color correction. Perhaps, the rules should say that the COLORS SHOULD
TRY TO REPRESENT ACTUAL APPEARANCE AND SHOULD NOT BE ENHANCED. The judges
should be advised that color alteration cannot be practically monitored and
for example, the reddness of plants may or may not be electronically or
photographically enhanced. This is a problem with both films and electronic
images. In fact, actual colors may be intentional or unintentional on part
of the submitter.

Judging Guidelines (p 21). Complimentary should be spelled complementary

Scoring Guidelines,(p.23). The judges are asked to assign points... the
contest organizers collate scores.... but the judges are asked to determine
1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards. Does this pertain to selection of 1st, 2nd 3rd
place... or the prize for each place. If the judges do not have to use
numerical scores as the basis for awarding "places", this possibility
should be mentioned.

Prizes (p24 and p. 32(7)). If the contest is international, then prizes
should be solictited from the international community (aquarists/judges
from Europe and Asia should be consulted and companies like Dupla,
Dennerle, ADA etc should be contacted)

Organizing Committee? I could not find the defintion. Is it the same as the
contributors?
