IMO, we should not call the meeting annual at this point. Let's have ONE first. 
So just call it AGA convention (or whatever). I hope that others will voice 
their opinions so the announcement can be prepared and circulated. 

Regarding speakers, I think we decided to go for the "low hanging fruit" this 
year. It just turned out to be "all-american." I would love to see 
international speakers for all future meetings (but not necessarily a 
requirement).... something to discuss for the planning of the meeting number 2. 
Regarding who pays, this year it was agree to do it easy and inexpensively. 
When we discuss the followup meeting (part of the purpose for the 1st one), we 
can discuss AGA's funding role. I don't have a preconceived position. If other 
organizations want to sponsor speakers, I doubt we would turn them down. In 
fact, I don't think AGA is currently in a position to pay for 'multiple' 
speakers from other countries. So, if we want a true "international" summit in 
the future, we may present ourselves as the host organization (ie facilitator) 
and coordinate closely with commericial orgs (ie. other sponsors)who will 
significantly help with financial support  --Neil
