Dear AGAers,
I have just 48 of the Tropical Catalogs left from the 100 Claus brought to
us
in March. They are going at the rate of about 2 per week. Karen wrote (see
below)
that Dave G. probably won't be competing with the AGA for selling these books.
I
ask that we purchase 100 catalogs from Dave Gomberg. He's selling them at a
reasonable price ($7 each), which is about what we paid Claus for them. Please
note that we can't always depend on Claus to hand carry them to us, and we don't
know how available this catalog will be in the future. Not having the Oriental
catalog to send out has been a problem, and I don't want to be caught short this
time without the Tropica Catalog. I think that we should take advantage of
David
G's timely offer.
Mary, if you don't have (or hear) any objections, would you okay the order,
so
that David Lass can release the funds? If you want to have David Lass make the
order, etc that's fine. (I don't mind contacting Dave G. and taking it from
there.) Just so somehow they get to me.... :-)
Thank you. The books and back issues are selling rather well. Requests are
coming in almost every day.

Diana
