Dear AGAers,

    New correspondence from Dave Gomberg regarding Tropica Catalog.  Dave
Gomberg sells the Tropica Catalog in lots of 20, since they are packaged that
way.  His prices are $8.125 for 40 ($325 for all 40) and $7.625 for 80 ($610
for all 80).  He'll pay shipping.
    I suggest that if the Steering Committee agrees, that David Lass send him
an official AGA Purchase Order for 80 books with the agreement of the Steering
Committee.  (This is what Dave requested.)  The other option I suggested is
just to send him a check for $610.
    Since Jan when I took over the BookStore, we have sold about 100 books and
the demand continues.  I have only about 40 book left.  If we don't buy the
books from Dave now, I need to order it ASAP from Tropica to take into account
the 2-3 month surface shipping schedule.
    I have plenty of room to store this book.  I recommend that we just get on
with it and send Dave G. either an official Purchase order or a check for $610
for 80 books.
