>From: Karen Randall <krandall@world.std.com> >In reference of Mary's comment that AGA is getting the "short end of the >stick" subscriber-wise by exchanging ads with PAM, I don't agree. >Dave has gone out of his way to publicize the Tennessee Aquarium event, and >to work with AGA in a mutually beneficial way. I think WE need to do the >same. This hobby is too small for divisiveness. We need to work together. I also agree that AGA should support PAM. My only concern is if Mary, as editor, will have a problem about "squeezing in" a full 1 page ad for a particular issue. I remember the problems associated with producing a final copy that requires a multiple of 4 pages. If this DOES become a problem for a particular issue, I would like to give Mary the freedom to shorten the PAM ad to 1/2 page or the equivalent filler needed to round off the issue. It would be good to tell Dave this contingency in advance, and I am sure he will understand. ALthough technically, AGA may have the short stick now, I am CONVINCED that PAM will succeed. Then, we will be VERY HAPPY to get the free color ad!! --Neil
