Re: Clarification Re: Showcase plug (fwd)

Just an appendage to the previous note I sent. This message I just got
from Dave is very much indicative that he does sometimes think of the
one-off "announcements" to be ads, and is very much "keeping score".

Nothing really new, but I would be very cautious of accepting any free
offers from PAM at face value, because little flames like this will come
back to bite us. Note that I was just making sure he was not trying to
put James' blurb in an issue of PAM that was too late, but his reply
speaks deeper.

Given how far PAM is ahead of TAG on ads, here is the schedule, ? means
it's not too late to change:

PAM 1 2 3 4

AGA + + -? -?
Chat - + -?
Show - - -?

PAM 3 should hit the reader's hands about October. More date info
later. The editorial content is all done and out for tech editing. It
should get composed by Aug 15 and in the mail by Sept 15 unless we delay it
to even out the issues (time spacing). We won't delay it if there is
time-sensitive material in it. But as I hear the vote, AGA does NOT want
to turn any of those -?'s into +'s. Please advise if I have it wrong.
