This is a professor I think, and he doesn't want anything in return but
tapes but will double check all this. He wasn't going to do any taping
himself. Our AV people will tape as we talk thro the mike for us so that
isn't the issue (we will have the tapes to dupe and distribute as we want),
the issue really is whether we want to let people buy tapes which could be a
good fundraiser (if speakers allow their talks to be distributed) but I
agree that we want people to come to the conference and not count on buying
cheap tapes instead of attending the conference. We have time to discuss and
make up our minds whether selling conference tapes is what we want to do or
keep the conference more personal so it encourages people to attend. That is
the main issue. Charlene
