Cool! I've wanted to meet them in person for a long time!

Me too, Charlene, though I think those of us who are speaking can be
expected to be in attendance ;-)

Sounds great.

Yours are pretty darned nice too.<g> Don't tell me you're thinking of
becoming a Dupla convert!

I just can't figure out why he'd want to donate $1000 based on whether we
allowed him to tape or not. It doesn't seem to make sense.

I think that as long as the speakers are all agreeable (or even just tape
the ones who ARE agreeable) that it makes sense to tape the seminars for
that AGA archives. What about offering the tapes just to those who attend
the conference? That would be an added incentive to come. Yes, I'm sure
some tapes would end up being used at some local club meetings (although
they should contain the standard warning that the tapes can be used legally
for private viewing only). But that might not be a bad thing either... It
might encourage someone else to come the next time.

We could offer the tapes (either of each talk individually or for the whole
conference) at the conference. People could pay for them right there, in
person, and the tapes could be mailed out to them after they were duped. To
me, this would be an attractive offer, and should be fairly easy to
administrate.

I do _not_ think that the tapes should be sold to the general public or even
non-attending AGA members any time within the near future. Maybe it would
be appropriate a couple of years after a conference actually took place.
