Hi Dave, Thanks for writing... From talking with James and Mary, the current plan is that the showcase results will be featured in the Q1 TAG. Mary has caught up on TAG, planning on publishing the Q4 issue within two weeks. Since the showcase itself has not been fully judged yet, we certainly cannot make the advance publication deadlines for the Q4 TAG. So we will be majorly featuring the results in the following issue. James and I talked about this a few weeks ago, and we both feel that it's a good idea to feature the results in both magazines; not only is there enough material to fill both, I think there is a possibility of taking advantage of the different media. The only requirement is that the results must appear in TAG "first". I believe that Mary will be trying to get Q1 TAG out the door before she leaves on the Amazon at the end of January, so it would seem like Q1 PAM would be an appropriate place for this article? What are the schedules for the next two PAM's? I wonder if an alternative would be to present a two page "announcement of the announcement of the winners"? Though the results themselves won't be available to submit for publication November 30th, we might be able to present some of the pictures and a pointer to the website for the lowdown. As a mere listing of winners to me would seem wasted space in PAM, perhaps this would be more interesting, and allow a "best-of-both-worlds?" I will leave this to you and James to figure out, while I go off and make sure the board is OK with such an idea (message cc'd to both). - Erik On Thu, 16 Nov 2000, Dave Gomberg wrote: > I want to know if AGA will make available the winning images and results > for publication in PAM and by what date? > > I am trying to do planning and am currently holding a two page spread for > Nov 30 release.
