I pretty much echo Scott's comments on this one.  Take the useful advice 
and don't let the critical parts bug you.  Think of it as a training 
exercise.  Now people know about it, we'll mention it at the convention, 
etc, so next time around it will be stronger.

I always worry, of course, of getting too chummy with some of the 
businesses.  It removes some of the objectivity.
