The FT cost per person is a pass through - we're not expecting to make anything on that. So for us not to take a loss on that, we need to be completely FULL with both vehicles. It looks like we'll be renting two buses (already filled one up to capacity),
and the charter company provides the driver. I'm currently working ongetting that nailed down. It will be a hassle if we endup with (2 bus capacity) + 5. So once we get close to the 2 bus capacity - I suggest we cut off registrations for
the FT.

It's too hard to say how many vehicles will be needed until we have a better idea how many FTs we're likely to get. But at any time, given the cost of vehicles, one can calculate the total net revenue/loss for any number of FTs. That will let us know when we need to cut off the FTs. Complicating that calculation is whether the drivers will be paid FTs or comped volunteers -- last year, iirc, we had drivers that didn't attend the convention except to pitch in as drivers and we didn't charge them for an FT but they took up a seat ;-) Simplifying the whole thing is the fact that, above a certain number of FTs, adding an additinal vehicle won't turn the FTs from net plus to net negative :-) sh --- Ghazanfar Ghori <ghazanfarghori@hotmail.com> wrote: > Oh - almost forgot to mention.
