Just my 2 cents: I can't see charging them for registration -- we're not likely to run out of room so badly that a few vendors will make a diff -- but I'd expect them to pay for Banquet and FT.
Me too. What he said.
Speaking of the FT and the bus ride, it's like a rule that no one can start singing Cumbaya, right?
Hah! I'm a rule-breaker from way back. Of course, no one will be able to hear me because Ben will have duct-taped me to the top of the bus.....
Somehow, that reminds me of this: Big Al's sent a couple of folks last year -- the walk-in store, not the on-line operation. In fact they regged so late, that I didn't get their checks in the mail until after the convention! So we had to do a a registration at the desk on Friday night as I recall. But it's worth hitting them up for donation or at least suggesting the send someone to attend the Convention.
And this reminds ME that the AGA Membership Chair really needed to be fired last year for not policing this better. And she was "head" of the AGA2K3 Welcoming Committee!!! (Thanks again, Larry!) Walk-ups must also have AGA memberships. Suggestions? Me with a laptop at the registration desk? How to connect to the database? Who to give money to? Can they combine checks? Do they have to fill out the AGA membership application? Etc.
