Thanks. And if you can let me know as soon as possible, I'd
appreciate it. I really want to get out from under that first night room
rate... And if we CAN'T get them to give us a larger block, we'd better not plan
on a second bus for Friday. I doubt many people are going to want to come
on a field trip that now costs them an extra $170.
What concerns me most is worrying who might have just given up and decided
not to come (or not come in time for the field trip) if they were simply told
that they couldn't get a room at the convention rate for Thursday night.
They could have at least contacted you when they were getting close to filling
the block. You might want to check on the other nights too.
