I will try try to clear it up. It might just be a misunderstanding. I would cancel if I were you. You are welcome to stay at my place. I am a half mile from the metro and could let you borrow a car if you needed. There are a lot of other hotel in the area as well, I may need to be a shuttle bus driver for the weekend?
I hope it does not come down to truning people away. That would be sad. I hope the hotel staff see it that way as well.
