Many of the donated items we receive and put into auction will be equipment -- so equipment seems fine to me. Based on the average per item sales last year and the fact that used stuff sells at a discount compared to new stuff, I wouldn't expect used stuff to bring much money even if it was is in stellar condition. So I don't think it would bring a lot of revenue. Possibly it would bring a lot more purchase choices to the attendees -- but I have some doubts about the market for used aquarium equipment. New stuff would look classier. sh --- Ghazanfar Ghori <GhoriG@gmail.com> wrote: > I got a question from someone this morning - don't really > know the answer. > What's been your experience? > > >Will the Auction be for live fish and plants only, or > will dry goods be > >allowed? > > I'm leaning towards live fish & plants and NEW drygoods > only.
