Cheryl, Please save a full set (especially of volume 4) for me to
destaple and scan, thanks!
You bet. I'll bring them along to DC.
As I mentioned before, I only have a
"reprint" volume 4 with the plain cover, and I do plan on rescanning at
some point.
Yes, I remember you saying *something* but I couldn't remember what. My
head exploded when I finished indexing the 700-page Illustrated Veterinary
Encyclopedia for Horsemen!
I'm not sure what you meant by indexing, but perhaps what you want to do
overlaps with what I want... Basically it's an attempt to set up some
subject categories and tag each article with its corresponding
categorie(s). I got about 2/3 through a couple years back and my head
exploded. It remains as the one barrier to releasing the archive. I'd
be happy to send you the raw file I have.
Yes, that's basically what I had in mind. Other projects, some of them
money-making, could be generated from there.
This would be a light index, not a deep, heavily cross-referenced one.
Sure, send your file along.
Other copies -- let's sell them at the convention! It's now guaranteed
rare!
If we're going to do that, I think we should bundle them as sets of years
and sell them that way. Individual copies would be a hassle.
