Yes at every national event in fish or even dog shows for that matter that I have attended works like Kathy mentioned. The host club as part of their representing the national organization provides a table. It is typically manned by the national club members but is given a premium placement ie. rigt next to convention registration table to ensure everyone who attends the conference sees it. This is where books, back issues of magazines ie TAG, and T-shirts, etc are sold. There is also a membership person there to sign folks up or at least educate them on what the national organiztion does and what benefits membership provides.
