Hi folks,
Thought I'd better run this one by you before I
responded. I have not met Arthrit face to face, but have worked on an
article in TAG with him. He was referred to me, and highly recommended by
both Claus Christensen and Ole Pedersen.
Obviously, I'll tell him that "field trip" in this
case, does not mean collecting, other than what can be done at a pet
store.<g> But I wanted to check about registering at the door, and
the possibility of still registering for dinner Sat. Night. If it's
too late to register for dinner, and he wants to join us for the speakers after
dinner, could he still do that?
It just so happens that I have not yet cancelled
Claus' reservation, because I've been sick. So I suppose there is a
possibility that I could have that room switched to him. (I know he and I would
have to check directly with the hotel about that) Even if he can't get the
same rate, at least we know there is a room available.

Guess what? I'm now in New York, doing my Master's Degree in Environmental
Policy at Columbia University. I have just heard about AGA convention and glad
that this year theme is also involved Cryptocoryne.
I'm thinking of attending some of the talks but still not so sure if I can
make it to D.C. on that weekend. Maybe you know this, would I be able to
register right at the talk?
I know Jan Bastmeijer well but haven't yet met in
person. Also, it would be good to meet you and other hobbyists. It's
bad that it's getting very cold. I'm so keen to go on a field trip collecting
and seeing AMercican aquatic plants. I just want to get relaxed from hard work
at school!
