We've got some capacity of adding 'last minute' folks to the banquet. So, although I cannot promise him a spot there (first come first serve), there is a chance he'd be able to attend the banquet. As far as registration, yes he should be able to walk in and register on Saturday morning. Registration will close at 10 AM on Saturday, so he should try and make it there earlier.
