Erik,Thanks for sending Dave that email. If he has anything else to say on the matter direct him my way and I'll work things out with him.
Personally, I don't feel he should be allowed to sell out of his room and if he's obvious enough for me to catch wind of it I'll ask him to pay. I'm more than happy to offer him a discounted "peddler" price of $100.00 which will allow him to sell as many books as he can carry on his person. The stipulation with that is he's not allowed anywhere near the vendor area while carrying a book and if he trys to make any part of a sale near the tables he'll be charged the remaining $150.00 and told to go find himself a table.
I understand that he's been close with the AGA for some time and that it may not be in out best interest to piss him off. Personally, I don't care one bit. The other vendors are paying good money for permission to sell at our convention and that standard should be enforced across the board.
