I have to say that I purposely went into the vendor room a number of times, first to visit vendor booths, then to "schmooze", and other times just to look in and see if there were other people visiting. Now, I wasn't on the top of my game, but it seemed to me that there was a pretty regular stream of people though there. Actually, I would have very much LIKED to talk to the Milwaukee folks, and they were never around when I went into the vendor room. I didn't see the Kent or SeaChem folks either, actually. One other possible "improvement", with hind sight, might have been to put the AGA sales table in the vendor room to draw people in. I think our table attracted a LOT more attention than we would have ever guessed. (not having done it before) I think that it could have done two things. There would have been an AGA "presence" to keep the vendors in the loop, and it would have moved that bunch of people who hung out around the table into the vendor room. I think it would have had the same "energizing" effect on the vendor room that having Lee Finley there does... people come to browse, chat, and BUY. The other vendors have info, some were giving away samples, and of course, Ray's stuff goes into the auction. But people think of a convention as "vacation" time, and tend to want to _buy_ something. The AGA table gave them that. Just some thoughts. Karen ----- Original Message ----- From: "S.
