The issue started with not being able to set up until Friday afternoon and then the room not being really available at 5 and I think the first thing set them up to react more negatively to each thing they didn't like. Along the way, they didn't have anyone to bitch to so I think they grumbled amonst themselves and fed their own fires. Actually they did have someone to complain to now and then but by Saturday I think they were living on their own fuel-fed burn. Also, the session swap with Amano's stuff meant that Sat night was basically dead for them so they felt like they could/should just close shop before the banquet. So basically they had only a partial day of showing for their money. Not a lot of folks would have been to the vendor room during the field trip and the vendors usually do tear down on Sat night or Sun morning and attend the banquet. So I don't htink it was as bad as some of them seemed to think. That's why I think, if we could have patted out the little fires earlier and seemed more "responsive," they would have left in a better mood. I only have this from a distance (second and third order reports) and I'm giving a very subjective version. sh --- Ghazanfar Ghori <ghorig@gmail.com> wrote: > Until now, I was not aware there was any issues with the > vendors > not being happy.
