A hotel is repsonsible for any food or beverage served on its premises -- health code, licensing obligations, etc. not to mention it's one of the ways they make their money. So it's not likely a hotel will allow food or beverage unless they provide it. Having a private area, like a room with your own stuff is another matter but even that they formally deny or disavow, even if they nod and wink at the same time. Rick's right that it is big bucks. Doesn't make it out of th question but means we need to be able to rely on the other things.
