Re: [AGA-mcm]Vendor Feedback

However, this is true at EVERY convention I've ever been to. It is next to
impossible to have the vendors much closer than they were this time, and
still have the room secured. Even at NEC, which has as close to an ideal
layout as possible, the vendor room is STILL at the end of the hall, and you
have to walk down there. The key is to make it such a vibrant, fun placeto
hang out, that that is whre people WANT to be. I think that a lot of
thought needs to be put into ways of reducing the cost of participation in
the vendor room if we can get increased participation as a result. Many
vendors operate on a shoestring, and the cost of table space can be enough
to keep them from coming, when you also count in the cost of travel and
hotel for the weekend.

We could find other ways to honor vendors like Seachem that want to go above
and beyond base prices, while still not making it cost-prohibitive for the
very interesting "little guys".
