This year's convention hasn't caught up to 2001's total yet, but I have no doubt it will.
Do you suppose this is becsuse of Amano's demo? How about a "combo package"?
2. I estimate that media sales since the 2004 convention have brought in about $750 for the AGA. And the year is yet young... :)
Yay! Media makes more than bookstore. Why? Rhetorical question, I guess.
3. What actually surprised me was how many contest CD's were sold LAST year. I don't know if there was a plug on a BB somewhere, but there were strong sales all throughout the year. I don't really notice this stuff normally, just jot it down in my logbook, but I took a look at the total tonight and went "Holy Cow!"
But the contest as a whole is becoming bigger. And the hobby as progressed. Does this not explain it?
4. Freebies not included in this list. I think there were probably another 15 DVD from the last two years sent out as freebies to folks.4. I am SO glad that it's 100% DVD now. It would have been quite painful to duplicate 60 VHS tapes of the convention, even 3 at a time.
No doubt. Is there a next step? Cheryl _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
