Subject: Re: Budget for AGA 2004 - good news
Hi, Scott
The AGA2K4 account finally settled, and there is
extra money in it! In fact, there is an extra
$2,156.62 in it.
The difference is entirely my fault. It comes from
the fact I used the account checkbook as the basic
reference for writing the budget. However, I forgot
to write down in the checkbook two transfers you made
prior to the convention. Thus the account always had more
funds than I thought. Second, there was a deposit which
included a check that bounced (internal GWAPA business)
that I didn't account properly.
The extra funds can only be attributed to the auction
revenues, since the auction transactions are the only
ones
for which we have only a partial record. Since I used the
annotations in the checkbookto to estimate the auction
revenues, the error got propagated to the final budget
report.
So I'll send you tomorrow a check in the amount of
$1,078.31
corresponding to the AGA cut on the difference.
And you can revise the budget spreadsheet by adding the
extra $2,156.62 to the auction revenues item. And btw,
the two paypal transaction that I forgot to note in the
checkbook *are* already transcribed in the spreadsheet,
thus
no need to fix anything there but the auction revenues
value.
Hope this is clear. If not, please let me know.
Btw, is this you address?

with your address.
