So it was voted to officially make Neil and Dorothy life members. Neil and Dorothy are the two surviving founders of the AGA in its current incarnation, and Dorothy was involved in the AAGA in its inception before that! Dorothy has some things to say about this below (Mike... some history for you!).

It is much appreciated. I'm more thrilled that you are giving it to Neil as he deserves it far more than me. He put TAG together, had it printed and applied the labels and mailed each issue. This was on top of working full time, with a family and related duties. I don't know how he really got it all in and still turned out a great product. I hand wrote all the memberships to start with until I was able to get them on disk. I took the disk to my son who printed all the labels for me. I then drove them 67 miles over the border to mail them to Neil as this cut off two days. I also mailed the cheques, etc. to Jare. This was all done on the telephone as e-mail was limited then. Again, than Thank You all for enjoyable years. I'm looking forward to getting to the conventions now. I will be trying to get more Canadian memberships all the upcoming shows and auctions. (6 in the coming 8 weeks) and I will also be at the CAOAC convention.
