Just my own thought here, but I don't think a "sponsored by" would be a problem. I might be missing something since we haven't been directly connected to any vendor except that we accept ads in TAG -- no corss-merchandising or anything like that. But if we did it, I think we would want to be clear that AGA does not endorse any particular brands of products and that we don't edit out mentions of products in articles if the mentions are contextually relevent. (Which means it wouldn't be a how-to-use-only-Red-Sea-products column.) As I said, that's not a statement of AGA policy, that's just what I think. As for costs, I don't think there are any unless we add pages. Pages are added 4 at a time and Cheryl can tell us (and remind me) how much it costs to add pages. We talked about this recently and I don't remember the figures and can't find the stuff in the archives. It might be time to add pages. I think we might be able to afford it if we don't have a convention that loses lots of money. I think we can afford it even if we don't have a convention this year -- I'm not saying we won't, just saying "even if." sh --- Phil Edwards <biotypical@hotmail.com> wrote: > I think the Beginner's Corner is a great idea!
