I think the leadership issue is particularly hard for them to deal with but I hope it is resolved soon. At least two are vieing for the position although I think both aren't -- ironic, no? Maybe it went to a vote this weekend. Something about this vaguely reminds me of George Washington's appointment as commander of the Continental Army. If you've heard the story, you can stop now. When George Washington showed up at the convention where the colonies decided to form an army, George wore a general's uniform even though he was not attached to any military organization and had never been a general. A friend of his went around town privately saying to convention delgates, "I don't think George will accept the position," and "We might not be able to talk him into to it." Not that anyone else had even mentioned George for the job. Upon appoint he refused a salary and said he wanted instead only reimbursement for expenses, then had a carraige made, the reimbursement for which was about three times the annual salary the convention had offered -- and that was before the end of the month. sh _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
