I really think anything less than a year is cutting it
too close, and puts
too much pressure on the local group. That's the way
other national clubs
do it and it works. Why reinvent the wheel? It's
already been done.
That way you can announce the next year's convention at
the current
convention and make a big deal about it, maybe even do a
short presentation
at the banquet to get folks pumped up about it - and most
importantly give
everyone plenty of time to plan vacation time, etc.
