Glad it wasn't as bad as I thought. :-) Cheryl Erik Olson wrote:
Did you do the chmod +x on the file? Unless the execute bit is set, the SSI doesn't get executed. Hang on, I'll take a peek... Actually, it looks great from here! The only other place *I* think it should be is on the orginazational info page. But that's just me. :)- Erik On Mon, 18 Apr 2005, Cheryl Rogers wrote:Erik, I have tried to fix the "return page, but it keeps deleting the SSI. It's there when I'm working on it. It's there when I upload it. It's there when I re-doenload it. But it's not there when I view it.I'm sorry. I don't get it.return.html needs fixing. I didn't bother with any of the others because I felt I was making more work for you instead of less.Sorry! Cheryl who has accomplished exactly NOTHING today. S. Not necessarybut it would be a good idea to include it in the "printable Membership Form" : http://www.aquatic-gardeners.org/applic.htmlI can include the text on the postcard that I send folks who pay by mail. Not necessary and probably too much after the fact (i.e., too late after the transaction). I don't want to beat folks over the head with this, just do minimum necessary to comply.NOW are you happy?Generally, I'm feeling pretty good these days, despite having to to reseal the driveway last weekend and getting a worse sunburn than I got during 2 weeks in Amazonia, reworking the plumbing on the house water heater with dielectric fittings, replacing some of the woodtrim on the house. Anyway, we're not trying to make me happy, we're just doing what we have to to maintain our tax-exempt status. Or you want I should print it in TAG? Drat. I forgot that we do "solicit" memberships in TAG on the info page. So it should go there too. Use tiny print is you want, so long as it's legible. Folks, I'm just giving you the best layman's interpretation of the IRS material I've researched. Other interpretations are welcome. When we make the big time, we can hire a professional tax advisor. Btw, I am going to prepare and file our Form 990 between now and May 15. This is the information form that Tax-exempts must file each year by the 15th day of the 5th month after the close of the fiscal year. Unfortunately, TurboTax doesn't include that form so I have to go into full manual mode. Good grief! Hmmm, I wonder if I make this more fun by making the Form 990 out of wood? Nah, the postage wood be rediculous. oh well, sh _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm_______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
