I would treat "web/forum advertising" as a separate issue from the Forum 
itself.  Do keep in mind that we do NOT need advertising to pay for 
hosting or running such a thing any more than we need advertising to pay 
for the aquascaping contest or the AGA website.

I'm also all for having good exposure for the AGA's benefactors, but I'm 
more for doing it in a "public TV" style than with banners.  Just me.  I 
would rather have the AGA have a large membership paying for TAG than have 
to have TAG supplemented by banner ads and convention income.

In any case, I would propose that such an idea be automatically tabled for 
at least a year after said forums are up and running.
