I usually do both, not so much for the server as for the
convenience of the awaiting fans of things financial ;-)

Thanks, we all made the numbers; I just wrote them
down. ;-)

Yes, artificially high book revs in 2004 because of the
Amano Rio Negro book but there was an unusaully high book
expense for the same which totally offset the revs.

I don't call that artificial; I call that a damn good
product.

Another great and popular product.

Yes. I think yours is a good insight. Actually, a large
portion of AGA2K4 revs did not arrive until January 2005
but I had accrued those in 2004 (not strictly kosher with
cash basis accounting) to give a better picture of AGA2K4
results in the 2004 report. So, likewise I *didn't* count
them again in the 1st 6 months of 2005. But there is a
couple of grand more in the bank that the current report
might lead one to believe.

With no convention this year, we might lose some market
steam, which could cost us more than just foregoing some
DVD revenues. We shall see. But significant things to think
about for the 2005 outlook are lowered DVD revs, no
convention rev this year, lower TAG ad revs, and possibly,
a depression in new memberships due to the first two. This
could put our revenue stream for the 2nd 6 months closer to
what I think it was several years ago. However, convention
and DVDs aside, I don't think our membership level is
moving a lot one way or the other, so that might be a
stability factor in terms of business activity, and a very
large core one at that.

Also, depending on the occurence and the timing, we might
see some offsetting boost in AGA awareness due to forums.
Although, I am aware that there is a counterargument that
forums might dissuade some folks from full fledged
membership.

An interesting time to be involved in AGA.
