Re: [AGA-mcm] Fwd: SFBAAPS: AGA Program Proposal (fwd)

Good question, CR. Hmm, possibly they have to factor in the
air fare and lodging for translator? I'd love to hear about
mosses and meet Kwek Leong in person as well. Bringing in 2
possibly 3 people might be financially hard to manage.

The long distance field trip can start earlier because
everyone can catch up on their sleep on the 2 hour bus ride
-- so long as no one starts singing about bottles of beer.

Are they still thinking about providing meals to the
attendees? While that can be less expensive for attendees,
it makes the ticket price bigger and harder to sell. Maybe
that was only part of the Vets Bldg. deal.

There's lots of stuff I'd like to see again in the SF and
much of it is listed on the field trips. Theymight even
scehdule one or two of the field trips on Thursday -- this
won't bring in everyone for Thrus, jsut a few, but it could
help to boost the roomnights with the hotel. Also, the
"stay extra days and sightsee" is just as relevent in the
Golden Gate and in the Nation's capital.

Hope you feel better soon, CR,
sh
