I suspect it's just a badly-written search bot, but I just don't have the
time to poke around it. I suspect that gallery is probably an order of
magnitude worse than phpBB in terms of holes, especially with the new
version. I don't like running software I don't know much about, and since
I don't really have any investment in it, we no longer have an AGA Official
Photographer(tm), and we're not actively using it, it's time for it go go
bye-bye. Next year we'll generate static pages just like we always
have...much less exploitable.

Bots for hire or something with lower fees?
Hmmm, who would want to grind an axe on that particular page? It will be
interesting to seeing if any attempts are made on other pages.

Subject: [AGA-mcm] Gallery is GONE for now
For the second time in the last couple weeks, someone has been bombarding
the gallery software on our site, causing essentially a denial of service
attack. I have consequently removed the software. Sorry for any
inconvenience this may have caused. We'll revisit this when/if we have
time in the future.
