Hmmmmm. Do you suppose that there are more beginner folks on plantedtank?
That the folks on apc already know about us?

I am up with insomnia, and the baby sleeps in my tech room at the moment,
so I figured I'd fix a number of things accessible by a laptop in the
dining room... first up was the forum update, second is the site
statistics (which haven't been summarizing right for a year).
I was able to dig through to find out how many times we got a click from
somewhere on other sites for the month of January so far:
gregwatson.com: 25
aquaticplantcentral.com 95
plantedtank.net 293
aquabotanic.com: 116
www.thekrib.com: 219
our forum: 41
our aquascaping contest: 858
These numbers have been adjusted to not include .jpg files, because
direct-linking to an image skews things... Phil was doubling the
aquabotanic number by including the banner ad in his signature!
Another interesting thing of note is that there are lots of referrers to
the aquascaping contest. For instance, we got 192 clicks to the
aquascaping contest from aquaticplantcentral.com. Most of the referrals
to the contest are from forums (all over the world, mind you!), which is
pretty nice coverage to have, and probably helps to bolster the 858 clicks
from the contest to the main AGA site.
Finally, this list does not distinguish between bookmarked links,
hand-entered URLs, referer-blocking software, and stuff like Scott's
signature ads. There were 27,000 of those so-called "direct-links".
