Hi Kathy,

Yes, unfortunately I don't see anyway that we can do a
convention for 2007. I have not been able to come up
with anything on the hotel front, and there isn't
anyone else who has been able to step up to help out
either. 


I am afraid that at this point I am already looking at
2008 and have decided that 2007 is just not feasible. 

I have been talking to some folks off-line and they
have all agreed with this concensus. 

I think we need to make an announcement but I would
prefer to wait a few more weeks until we have 2008
more clearly organized. 

I am thinking of 2008  and doing a blow out. Amano and
maybe Dr. Tan or even Kasselan. Heck maybe all three?
I am thinking Atlanta cuz Seachem has already offered
a tour and the new Atlanta Aquarium might be a good
field trip.

These are the thoughts but I am open to any others.
The main thing is we should try to get some forward
progress.

PS. That would be incredibly helpful if you would help
out with anything. You infused a lot of energy into
the group last year when it was really needed.
