On the surface it does sound like a great idea. As long as the authors are OK 
with it of course. My concern would be who "they" really are. Is this truly a 
hobbyists organization as they claim or is it one or two people who have some 
commercial intentions.

If it is the former we should try to help them with any wisdom or content (with 
author permission) at Cheryl's discretion.
