I read some reviews about the Westin (I think I had the right one) on tripadvisor.com and they were mostly positive.  Some people are going to fuss about anything and everything, but again.. mostly positive.

Do we have anyone on the ground that can tell us if it is near places to eat and what kind of neighborhood its in?  

I did see several people complain about the add on fees, but that's just the nature of those type hotels to charge extra for internet and parking.  Frustrates me like crazy, but for a convention type hotel, that's the deal.
