Add a gourami. Blues work best, (or any of the vriations on blues) but they are a bit aggressive. Dwarf or giant gouramis work too, but they aren't quite as quick about it. Hydra are almost a guaranteed sign of over feeding, so you might want to do a couple of big water changes and cut back on the feeding before your hydra infestation turns into an algae infestation!
